Try just patting the lipstick on, directly from the tube, and blend with your finger. Apply a lip balm on top of that, and it'll look slightly more natural.

I'm sure you look fine, your hardest critic is yourself, and thats what makes it so tough to be a girl.

So if you're going for bold lip colour, go with some simple mascara and a neutral eyeshadow so that you don't look ';clownish'; as you say.

Although I am open to darker shades, I am apprehensive about buying them because of my face's overall dark canvas (black skin, black emo glasses, black arched eyebrows, edgy black bangs). I'm having a bunch of friends come over to put on some lipstick, kiss a poster, and sign their kiss. I'm gonna need some cheap (cheap as in bad quality, not price. although a cheap price isn't bad either!) Lipstick that will leave the best possible kiss print on the poster! because of the dye's in the satin it would be best to have a dry cleaner remove the lipstick for you especialy if it cost you a lot of money which it sounds like it did. i've found that experimenting with something you need right now or cost a lot of money should'nt be experienced or mucked with when it counts. Sure you can, I always grow my cuttings direct in soil instead of water rooting. Get a small pot, 3 or 4';, and put in some potting mix. Water it well, then stick the cutting in, putting at least the first set of leaves at the soil, or even under it a bit, since this is where the roots will come from.
Keep it moist, provide bright, filtered light, and it will be rooted in about 3 weeks, maybe less.Can you grow a lipstick plant from a cutting of one?
If this is the plant then you can propagate from a cutting.

Your hair color is dark blonde, but what about the rest of you? We don't know what your make up looks like or the kind of look you're going for? Go to the make up counter, try different colors and finishes. Try some colors you normally wouldn't wear. You'll be surprised that some of the colors you dismiss will look good on you. There are so many great colors. Make sure they always compliment your skin color and moisturize your lips. Some cheap and expensive lipsticks will suck the moisture right out of them. Then you're left with dry, peeling, ugly lips.

That really depends on your skin tone. If you are pale, reds can make you seem even paler. Personally I think pinks, mauves, and some peachy shades look great with blonde hair. Thre are some really great glosses but unless you want your lips to stand out, I would wear a gloss with no glitter, like a lightly tinted pink peach or even clear.
I suggest you go for moisturized lipstick with nude colors. You don't have to use gloss since that it makes lips look fuller, and you got that already.

I have just had my mid back length, dyed black hair lightened to its natural colour of medium brown :) and had it cut to a long bob, i have fair skin (sometimes as i tan up now and again) and i have green/hazel eyes. Brown hair with green eyes- lucky you! You can really bring out those eyes with browns and a smoked eye liner (smudged liner for less of a bold look). Black mascara is a must! Nice skin is essential - forget tanning that will just make your face droop when you're older. use an overall light bronzer, a blush on the apples of your cheeks to give a heathy perk, and seal it all with a transluscent powder.
If you'd like to make your lips look more full you can wear a neutral color with a frost or shimmer on the bottom lip. If your lips are large stay away from the shimmers and frost- stay with a matte color, I wouln't go with a bright color on the lips because you don't want them in competition with those eyes.

But if you used PTFN or other malleable explosive in the shape of lip-stick you could punch a whole in the airframe. I can't ever seem to pick out a color that looks good on me. The tone looks good on the outside, then when i get it home and put it on, I usually decide to throw it away. I'm fair-skinned, with dark brown hair and blue-green eyes. Any tips for picking out a color at the store, or any color suggestions? Apply one coat and blot lightly with tissue. Some people prefer to use a lip brush as opposed to putting the lipstick straight onto the lips. This means you get a gradual and even build up of colour.
Keep on applying and blotting until you get the shade you're looking for
Use a product such as Lipcote [which I highly reccomend] to make sure the colour stays.

I am particularly interested in a color called ';Mondrian Coral.'; These lipsticks came in long brushed gold cases that flattened out and mimicked the shape of paint brushes. i think the only reason u dont feel good about the lipstick is because u dont have confidence in urself. u dont have to just stick wit one shade of red. u can go pink-red, orange-red, red-red (like bright), off red (so, like pale orange-red) n earth-red (so, a darker red that sorta blends into brown). n if u still dont think it looks rite, u can always go 4 red gloss instead a bold red-ish lipstick.

i think the only reason u dont feel good about the lipstick is because u dont have confidence in urself. u dont have to just stick wit one shade of red. u can go pink-red, orange-red, red-red (like bright), off red (so, like pale orange-red) n earth-red (so, a darker red that sorta blends into brown). n if u still dont think it looks rite, u can always go 4 red gloss instead a bold red-ish lipstick.

I personally think red lipstick looks too harsh, I would try a reddish toned gloss though, that might look nice.

Nail polish would be terrible for your face, and it is designed to coat the nails and thus would coat the skin and clog pores and there is a likelyhood that your skin would react to all the chemicals in nail polish as well. Lipstick would work fairly well, but I warn you that it can stain your skin. Personally I would say that you would be best off sticking to actual face paint.

I think the more natural, the better.
That all depends on what you want to do with your makeup. If you want to do a more dramatic eye, stick with a more nude lip. Neutral sandy pink glosses look good in these cases, as does clear or lightly tinted gloss if you have alot of nautral pigment to your lips. C.O. Biggelo MenthaLip Shine in 1168 would look nice with a bergundy dress, but would be sheer enough to be extremely subtle. If you want to make a statement with you lips then get a nice wine colored lipstick, but try and stick with a sheer, moisturizing formula. This will look much better than trying to get a really pigmented, matte lipstick to look good. I would get a nude lip liner and use that to color in the entire lip as a base, then apply a sheer coat of the dark shade with a brush for more control, blot, then re-apply. This will give you a nice even coverage without being too over the top.
Sometimes when your dress makes that much of a statement it is best to play up the eyes and wear a nude lip. This way the color of you dress and the color of your lips aren't fighting for attention. Playing up the eyes with a dramatic look will help to bring the attention back up to your face. Try a smokey look using shades of charcoal and grey or brown and copper to suit your eye color. What is the key to long lasting lipstick?
I use a lipstick that is supposed to last 8 hours. After about two hours the only lipstick that is left is around the edges of my lips and makes it look like I am wearing lip liner with no lipstick. What is the trick to keeping it on?What is the key to long lasting lipstick?

4. apply another thin layer and repeat step 3. Apply a final layer.
This should help it last ages without leaving you with the lip liner round the edges look.

After making a smokey eye you can put your colors blended with the black smokiness to make it look really gradual yet dramatic and i somtimes like to put a bit of highlight in the corners of my eyes -where your tear ducts are - a bright white shimery eye shadow and i use a smudge brush for that. i dont put a whole lot of the white shadow i just use it because i like the contrast of the smokey and the high light and the white ( never a mate eyeshdow -make it a nice shimmery one-) shadow blends with your choice of color for eye shadow nicely.
If you dont want to take the smokey route i still recomend looking for a nice high lighting shadow to make you look fresh and if you are just using color or keeping it slightly simple you can go slightly pink but keep it sheer. Thats what i personally do.

My husband just called me from his office and told me that somebody at his work (probably his secretary as she is pretty new there) got lipstick on his shirt collar. Also try it in ';Nice Knickers'; if the ';Skinny Dip'; is a little too light for your skin tone.

I say use neutral colors on a daily basis and only use pink and shimmer only if your outfit is particularly bright or colorful. and if neutrals are too boring for you, get a gloss that has a slightly gold tint. i got this really great one from MAC that has a gold tint to it and it looks really nice with the warm tones of my skin and hair. It will make your face look summery and divine(that sounds corny but its true)
I think the colors you're using right now are great. You don't want to use colors that are too obvious because they kind of have a more formal look to them.
Clear lip gloss with sparkles, light pinks, and you could try that metallic looking lip gloss for more shine

Put on lipstick the same color as your dogs fur, and kiss it again.
Do your dog know how to put lipstick?!? How did the lipstick got unto your dog?
How did he get red lipstick all over him?
It will wear off in time.

Did u try baby wipes?? It is great for make up removal off my face--just an idea,hope it works.
Give him a bath with good dog shampoo
