Lipstick?????????

ok so ive never worn lipstick before cause ive always been a tom boy (not anymore tho) and i still find it a lil strange but im wondering how easy does it smear and does it just take one touch to mess it up? cause i would be extremely self conscience about if it smeared or if it looks retarded. lolLipstick?????????
Sice you have never done it before, why don't you start by using lip gloss. You can't really go wrong with that and that is usually the popular makeup people buy. As for lipsticks, it's better if you go to a makeup counter at some department stores (like Macy's) and ask them to help you pick your fist lipsticks and show you how to apply it. I never apply them directly to my lips. I always use a lip brush and brush them on. This way you don't have too much on and you have better control of how it is being applied. I once knew a make up artist for Disneyland and she told me to use lip brush. Also no lip pencils.





When you do try lipsticks, ask for what is best for day time. Yes, beleive it or not, there's lipsticks for different times. Night time, day time, dress up , dress down, funky and fun, etc.

try using lip glosses in lighter shades..u dont hav to bother so much if u go for lighter natural shades...bcos ur not used to it, using darker shades vl make u feel uncomfortable.. and to look good its important to b confident and also feel good about urself..
1. First prime your lips with a good base of foundation and powder to remove all color from your lips.





2. Carry your lipstick with you incase of accidental removal or just quick touch-ups.





3. Apply your lipstick as normal, with or without lip liner.





4. Continue the line of the upper lip, keeping your mouth closed and relaxed. Use short strokes, as they are easier than a continuous line.





5. Connect the lines drawn at the top and bottom center of your lips with the lines drawn at the corners of your mouth.





6. Blot your lips gently on a tissue, being careful not to smudge or remove too much color. Then brush on a second coat of lip color to create a deeper effect.





7. To hide lip lines, apply lipstick vertically.

There are a bunch of types of lipstick, cream lipstick, is the easiest to smear, but also the brightest and most noticeable, there is this kind of lip cover that you i think can put over it so it doesn't smudge. Matte lipstick it my fav. it makes your lips still have the flat smooth look but with color on them, but be careful, becuase it can make your lips very dry, they dont smudge like at all, but you HAVE to put on chapstick or they'll get really chapped. Then their is lipgloss, did you know you can also put lipgloss on your eyes too? Hope this helped!
if u r self conscious about smearing off, try using lip gloss instead. There are some that dont have too much shine, but just a little bit of tint ^^
most lipsticks are made from fish scales.. bet you knew that didn't ya?
