I love lipstick but there are so many lousy brands out there and I need to know which lipstick brand is the best you know cheaper because I can't afford to wear nasty lipstick. Are there any suggestions out there?What is one of the better brands of lipstick I can buy?
I have tons of lipstick, from Dollar Store brands to Department store brands.
The best one I have, as far as colors, staying power and not drying my lips, is Cover Girl Outlast (I think that's the name of it).
Loreal has great colors, but it smears too easily.
M.A.C, also has stunning colors, but it chaps my lips.
Estee Lauder has simple colors, but they last and they don't dry your lips.What is one of the better brands of lipstick I can buy?

I like lipstick from Estee Lauder....it's super smooth.
I am a makeup artist and I use a comapny called Christi Mar Cosmetics. They have a wonderful selection of lipsticks and lip glosses. It an all natural product. It stays on for a long time. And the color doesn't run or bleed. They have a ton of colors as well. You can find them on www.christimarcosmetics.com
maybelline, revlon, cover girl and mac work well. my aunt uses them and it lasts her all day.
If you want the regular type sold in pharmacies,
I think anything Revlon or Loreal is great.
Lipstick isn't a complicated thing to make, and most brands have good choices. It just depends on the color and consistency. Like a lot of brands nowadays are comming out with very moisturizing formulas that feel like lip balm. Those tend to be smoother
The older, regular kinds are more waxy.
There's also long lasting lipsticks that come with a white base coat or some sold in liquid formulas.. depends for what occasion
When you see samples, try some on and figure out what kind of consistency you like.
try revlon they are so smooth and feel great.
CoverGirl, Maybelline are pretty good brands and not too expensive either. You can get it from your local Rite-Aid or other stores that have a cosmetic section. Hope I helped.

Is it possible to suddenly be allergic to lipstick?
Not just lipstick but lipgloss, too. The only thing I can put on my lips is Blistex LipFusion or Carmex. Since I had my last son, everytime I put on lipstick or lipgloss, my lips start hurting and they puff up and get red. Afterwards, they dry up and I can't do without Carmex for about three days. I've switched all my lipgloss and lipsticks twice since this started happening, bought brand new... I don't know what else to do. They do make hypoallergenic makeup. I believe Almay is supposed to be good for that, I'm not 100% sure. If I were you, I'd talk to your doctor and see if he or she can test for sure to know if you're allergic.

Try on a white shirt and an ivory shirt. If the white shirt complements your skin better then you are cool and should wear reds that have blue in them. If the ivory looks better then wear warmer reds with orange in it. If both shirts look good then you're neutral and can wear any shade red from true red to burgandy.

Check any stores that have Halloween decorations. Most come with the Halloween make-up selections in these colors including black. Still cannot find any, u may have to use eyeshadow as lip color. Balm lips first, get eyeshadow color us want and use lip brush in it. Put on lips and add clear gloss over it. Good luck.

I have a beautiful Ibanez Talman with lipstick pickups. I'd like to get new pickups for it though, but I don't want to change the guitar's appearance, especially the lipsticks because they really enhance it aesthetically. Apply your lipstick as normal, with or without lip liner.
Step2
Blot once with a double ply tissue. This may dim the color, which is okay.
Step3
Apply a second layer of lipstick, and blot again. This removes the oils from the lipstick and leaves the matte and color behind, which will stay better over the course of the day.
Step4
Apply a clear gloss over the top to help you seal in the color and allow your lips to retain their color much longer.
[i personally always put foundation on my lips first, then apply the lipstick, THEN apply a light powder over that to dull the color, and when im finished with all that apply my lipstick on again, and it lasts for majority of the day.. i just dab on some gloss every one in a while to refreshen it.]

That way I am sure to get my money's worth because make-up is definitely not cheap! If I need the color for the day I wrap the little brush up in a plastic ziplock bag and stick it into my purse and carry it with me for reapplications.
Pull out the little plastic part. The part with the little hole. just put it back after every use. So you dont spill the lipstick.
This is what I do; put a drop of baby oil on the applicator occasionally. This will blend with the lipstick/gloss and extend the product. I also do this with liquid eyeshadow.hair styling

I bought this plant last year at the end of the season. I did some research and I believe it's a strawberry plant? It bloomed white flowers though. It has runners just like a strawberry plant would, it's low growing. My question is - is this really an edible plant if it berries? If you don't like the white one, take it out and try it again (hopefully when in flower). The white one is nothing special but 'Lipstick' is really cute.

Well first of all, buy GOOD black lipstick. any lipstick will wear off soon if its a cheap one. Then use a light foundation one your lips, then put on the lipstick, then put a light light layer of powder on your lips and RUB your lips together so you cant see the powder. Then the finishing touch. Use lipliner on your whole lips.

i know this sounds wierd..but reading this is a book full of celebrity secrets. i read that JELL-O works awesome as a lip stain. why buy expensive products when you can buy lip stain that will stay on, without making a mess when you kiss your boyfriend. and chapping i dunno. but its worth a shot. what to do is take strawberry JELL-O . grab an Q-tip and wet with water then dip the damp Q-tip into the powder and apply to lips. good stuff and no smears. some celebrities do this and no one even knew!!
lip liner will work because it will help you by putting the lipstick i the right place and try not smeering much. good luck!

I'm typically a chapstick/lipgloss girl, but I want to branch out and find a good lipstick that doesn't make me look like my grandmother. Any suggestions?What is the best lipstick you have used?
MAC always has pretty lipsticks. Go to any makeup counter in a department store (a younger, more fresh makeup line like MAC, Chanel, Dior, Lancome, Benefit) and ask them to test out lipstick on you. Make sure they put a primer/base, lip liner, lipstick, and finish it off with gloss. It sounds over the top but it makes it look very complete and gives the full effect. If its a darker color, have them put the highlight around your lips to make the color ';pop'; and a powder to keep it from ';bleeding'; into any fine lines around your mouth. i love merle norman lip pencil plus-they are aliner on one end and color on the other and i love Dior Lip maximizer...doesn't really plump up lips but is not gooey and is a nice neutral
go to sephora and get yourself a few lipsticks..today i went in and got a lipstick for 5 dollars..sephora brand is cheaper than any other brand and its as good..go to youtube and search smashbox tutorial or makeup tutorials..**** luck and dont be scared to try new things..dont listen to other people who tell that your lipstick is to bright they just dont know fashion..google makeup pictures and look at all the diffrent types of makeup you can do..makeup has come a long way.

If this will not remove the lipstick then you will probably need to call a qualified technicans as the lipstick may have permanently coloured the leather and will need solvents to remove it. Solvents will also remove the finish /pigment form the leather and wthese will need replacing so it is not something to attempt yourself. Please beware of internet products that 'guarantee' to remove the stain as these can only do so by removing the finish.
