Lipstick?!?

Hi! I am a very pale persn with dark brown hair and green eyes....should I choose my lipstick by my hair and eye color? A friend told me i should match it with clothing.....could someone help... : )Lipstick?!?
Your coloring sounds really beautiful - I would suggest natural, earthy colored lipstick to compliment your hair and eyes for an everyday look.





If you want to spice things up, experiment with some darker shades but still look for natural colors with a hint of brown. I know a few people who just can't find great lipstick colors for their skin tones and instead choose more sheet glosses that work GREAT for them. Do natural colors, pinks, lights, and light reds
Daytime: I'd use a more natural color - very close to your natural lip color.





At Night: Chose a darker tone but keep with natural or warm colors - nothing electric (like purple-pink).





I don't usually match my lipstick to my eyes, dress or hair unless I am looking for a really sharp artistic effect.

go to mac! its at some malls! they will help you and fix you right up with the best lipstick for you! trust me on this!
If we only choose lipstick by hair and eye color, we'd end of wearing the same color every day. And how boring would that be? I make sure it goes well with hair and eye but I coordinate to what I'm wearing and sometimes even my mood.

well because you are a very pale person i would not wear anything too bright maybe like a pink or maybe like a champain color. but dont wear anything too bright eacause it will make your lips too big(fuller than what they are).
just do what looks natural

I have pale skin, dark brown hair, and green eyes too. I had the hardest time picking out a lipstick I thought would look good. So for the longest time I never wore anything. These are all different colors and types. I suggest going into a Clinique counter talking to an adviser and showing them this list. TRY THEM ALL ON!!! That's the beauty of it. Fix the rest of your make up. Put on what you wear on a daily basis so that you get an idea of what you will look like on a daily basis. Hair color, eye color, skin tone, and the clothes you wear mean nothing when you want to wear what you like.
I say eyes
dark hair and light eyes is a pretty cool combo.... id recommend sticking to neutral lip colors-- and focus on bringing out the green in your eyes instead.
wear light color, and enhance with a light green. Always keep it simple. CoverGirl has great colour.
