Does red lipstick look good with brown hair and blue eyes?

I always feel when I wear red lipstick it doesn't look quite right. I have brown hair and blue eyes. Any makeup tips to make it look better?Does red lipstick look good with brown hair and blue eyes?
Yes it would - just make sure you don't do too much to your eyes. The general rule of makeup is that if you play up your lips, then keep the eyes neutral - and vice versa.





Just make sure you pick a shade of lipstick that goes well with your skin tone, or else you have the potential to look like a clown. Plums, wines, and deep reds are better with darker skin tones, light brown beiges with pink or orange undertones are good for paler skin, and brownish reds, light browns and raisins are good for an olive skin tone. There are several tones, hues, shades, and textures of red lipstick. Depending on your skintone, and the look you are trying to achieve ie bold or subtle, choose one that works best for you. Red lipstick is magic if you pick the right one. Try going to a makeup counter where you can get help with picking the right colors to match your tones and personality. But YES it can look amazing with brown hair and blue eyes. Something to try as well if you feel it isn't working out quite how you expect...vary the texture meaning glossy, matte, sheer etc. Good luck!
i think the only reason u dont feel good about the lipstick is because u dont have confidence in urself. u dont have to just stick wit one shade of red. u can go pink-red, orange-red, red-red (like bright), off red (so, like pale orange-red) n earth-red (so, a darker red that sorta blends into brown). n if u still dont think it looks rite, u can always go 4 red gloss instead a bold red-ish lipstick.

i have brown hair and blue eyes!! i do it all the time its more of your complextion and you dont want to overdo the rest of your makeup. go simple on the eyemakeup and blush.

I Dont think it looks good. You can try some light pink Lipstick it will look better.
I personally think red lipstick looks too harsh, I would try a reddish toned gloss though, that might look nice.
depends on your skin tone, if it's darker go for a more rusty color


if it's lighter go for a bright red
Maybe not lipstick but lipgloss.
