Is there a shade of red lipstick that looks good on everyone?

I can't find my right shade. Is there a shade of red lipstick that looks good on everyone?
You know, some people just can't wear red lipstick, it's too harsh for their complexion, colour of their hair, accentuates their flaws etc etc.

I don't think that there is a shade that suits everyone. There are some general guidelines however. Cool skin tones should wear red with a hint of blue and warm skins should go for a red with a hint of orange. Maybe try some red lip stain or lip gloss instead. :)Is there a shade of red lipstick that looks good on everyone?
No, because everyone's lips, and skin tones are different.

Some reds have a blue undertone, which doesn't look good on everyone.

MAC has a lot of red lipsticks..just ask an artist to help choose your best shade.

For a cheap one to try out that's $0.94, get NYC
Darker reds rather than bright, looks better on most people.

No sure way though, buy a few and try them on, if you don't like the color almost everywhere you buy makeup will let you exchange it for another shade.

Check before you buy =o)
I would recommend not getting a bright bright shade. Usually to pull off bright red lipstick you need very white teeth. Try to get a more subtle shade. it looks better and will be nearest your shade.
Nope. But I'm pale, with jett black hair (dyed) and I wear Blackberry by Bobbi Brown and it looks good on me.
MAC Russian Red is a true, classic red that looks good on most people.
There isn't but this should help.
