What lipstick color is appropiate for tanned asians?

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but the light colors are too light for me, and even when I try dark shades of red, it still makes me look like a clown, even though it's not bright red!! Help! What lipstick color is appropiate for tanned asians?
I would try a nude with a hint of pink a couple shades darker then your skin tone. Try one of those combined lipstick and gloss. A little glimmer goes a long way for nude shades!

Also, for that comment 'asians dont matter', I say, forget that. Asians are cool. =)What lipstick color is appropiate for tanned asians?
try vivid shades of brown.
red isn't a color you can just throw on you really have to look for the right shade that will match you...

-i suggest a deep pink with a bit of shimmer it will look good on you skin tone, try moonbathe in solar plum by m.a.c.
Try MAC freckletone lipstick, MAC enchantress lipglass, or Laura Mercier violet glace gloss and pink champagne lipstick. Red is a hard color to find...it's gotta be perfect or else it will make you look and feel ';clownish';. You need to find your undertone which is either cool, warm, or neutral. Try on a white shirt and an ivory shirt. If the white shirt complements your skin better then you are cool and should wear reds that have blue in them. If the ivory looks better then wear warmer reds with orange in it. If both shirts look good then you're neutral and can wear any shade red from true red to burgandy.
Try a peach color, or even somewhat of a gold color. Add shimmer to it so it will stand out a little.
pink or black may look hot,.. but it depends on the tan,. and the asian ;)
Earth tones.. something like brown or orange.
try burgundy shades
deep brown/tan looks good.
