Lipstick Stain Removal from Clothing

You can get rid of lipstick stains by applying some non-gel toothpaste to the mark. Rub the toothpaste well into the garment, then wash as usual.

If this doesn´t work, try using a dry-cleaning solvent. To do this, put the item down on an old towel, apply the solvent and use an edge of the towel to soak up solvent and stain. Launder as usual. If any color remains, try using ammonia and water.:)How do you get rid of a stain caused by lipgloss and lipstick? Please help!!?

soak with cold water, add a small amount of washing up liquid, Fairy liquid , dawn, which ever you use for your dishes. Now rub the liquid in with your finger tips. leave for a few min´s then pop into your washing machine on a 40Âșc normal wash . This will remove the stains

  1. Toothpaste works WONDERS. We had partially removed some red lip gloss stains from beige carpet a few days ago, and discovered fresh stains from the same tube this morning.
Hoping for better results this time, we searched online and tried the toothpaste. Not only did it remove the fresh lip gloss, it removed the lip gloss from 2 days ago, and black waterproof MASCARA that had been in the carpet for 7 months!!

Tip: apply toothpaste directly to the carpet and work in with your finger. This helps the toothpaste work into the deeper parts of the carpet. Apply warm water, rub some more, and rinse out. (We used a little green carpet cleaner to suck the water up.)
