What is the best thing to use to remove lipstick, I have tried vanish but its not helping. I can not put the garment on a hot wash because of the material, any suggestionsHow can you remove lipstick?

I had lipstick on my knitted cotton jumper i tried lots of things then i soaked the jumper in Bio Tex for a few hours rubbed gently and the lipstick disappeared. Now i always make sure i have this product
Washing up liquid.
Rub it on neat, add a little water and scrub with a nail brush or similar.

wd40 will take off the lipstick. spray it on, and rewash.
I can suggest you use a little of your own dish washing liquid. soak the garment in cold water, add a little liquid and rub in with your finger麓s , this will remove the lip stick. then rinse
its a grease stain so you use greese to get rid try baby oil to lift and blot it it will eventualy lift out
